I haven't played with Smiley Cards as much as I would like to but here are a few cards I've made with it. It's such a super cute cartridge!! It's on my list to review!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Friday Challenge #5

Good Morning Everyone

After all the excitement leading up to last week's Winter Release Blog hop I can't believe how quickly it flew by and we are ready for another "Let's Face It" Challenge!!

This is a fun challenge that I was so excited to create for! I love holiday parties and this weeks challenge is to create an invitation to a holiday party. It can be for any party that you might be going to this holiday season, Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, or even just a gift opening party!! The Faces DT gals have come up with some "OH so Cute" invitations! You won't want to miss even one of them!! Check them out here!! And that is also where you need to post your creation to be eligible for the prize!

Here's my card...hope you like it. I had alot of fun planning it out!! To create the little string of lights, I hot glued each one to a piece of thread, so they move.

Peachy Keen Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop

Good Evening Friends!!

It's Peachy Keen Stamps Blog Hop Time and are we excited to unveil these AdOrAbLe, SwEeT, cHaRmInG stamps to you!!
When you see all the stamps sets that Peachy Keen is releasing you're going to want them all!! I know that I DO!!

I have so many exciting things to tell you, I don't know where to begin....ok, I'll begin with my creations...
This card is made using PKS-01 Snow Head Ornament One. I love this stamps set because it offer two large faces both perfect for the Holidays but also can be used well into the winter. It also has two phrases, a candy cane and holly berries. I used the large smiling face for my "I'm So Happy Christmas is Over" Santa card.

For my little reindeer card I used PK-470 Happy New Year Assortment. I thought these were the perfect face stamps for my tired out reindeer after their night of flying Santa's sleigh.

This is my New Year's card. I again used the PK-470 Happy New Year Assortment. I knew immediately that I wanted to use these funny, tipsy faces for the champagne bubbles on a card. One of my favorite holiday commercials is that one where the champagne cork pops off the bottle and all the champagne sprays out (I love that commercial). Making this card reminded me of that commercial.

Lastly, I wanted to post a quick video that I made. I hosted a Flat Stanley last month from Texas. A sweet lady TaVonna, from the Cricut message board asked if anyone would like to host Stanley from one of the 2nd graders in her daughters class.
While Flat Stanley was with me we did some interesting things and went to some neat places. I made an mini album to return home with him with a few little surprises inside of it. Here's a video of the mini album. Thanks for watching!! Let me know if you have any questions!!

Banner Blog Hop Fall 2010

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen

Today is our very first Banner Blog Hop and are you in for a treat today! We have 21 AmAzInG Ladies that are participating with 21 different Give-Aways!!

Let's start off with my banner. I created a New Year's Eve banner. It says CHEERS!! My whole family is going to be together for New Year's Eve and Day. I thought it would be so much fun to make and hang up a banner for the festivities. I always decorate for Christmas and seem to forget New Years. So this year I'm going to make sure New Years is not forgotten at my house.

Here's my banner with the beautiful fall leaves behind (by Dec. 31st I hope it will be a white wonderland out of my window!).



Here is a close up of the champagne glasses, one for each banner. I used my awesome PK-680 Retro Paper Doll Faces Assortment! I love this set and thought it would be perfect for this banner!!



Here's another shot of the banner on the wall.



To create the "fan" 3D embellishment behind each letter I used a video tutorial that I found on youtube. Here is a link to the original video that I watched. It's by Christina at Creations with Christina. It's a beautiful embellishment and so quick and easy. I don't even have a score-pal or Martha Stewart scoring board. I just used my paper trimmer with my bone folder.









On this close up you can really see the Twinking H2O paints that I used. These paints are fantastic. They shimmer and sparkle after they are dry. They are made by Creative Imaginations and I bought mine at Scrapbook.com. You can see them here Twinkling H2O's Wildflowers. I adore them!!

Smiley Cards Cricut cartridge

Here's the first card I've made with my new downloaded Smiley Cards cartridge. I love this cartridge. It's super cute and I can see a lot of possibilities. I want to cut every one of the Emoticons!! They are so cute!
