And of course I had to make a creation using this stamp set, ok, who am I kidding? I made 8 creations and I'll be posting a different one each day this week!! So, you have to come back and see what I've been up to!!

My favorite costume when I was younger was Mac tonight(the moon playing the piano in a McDonalds ad) anyways I wore a black suit and made the moon head painted my face white and nobody knew who I was. I had so much fun! Then someone recognized my smile! Really fun night! Thanks for the great card ideas! And I hope to win!

My favorite Halloween costume as a kid was Dorothy! No ruby slippers, but I did have red jelly shoes!

Such a cute creation! Thanks for sharing your talent! I didn't even hesitate when thinking about your question. My favorite costume as a child was an awesome creation that my mom sewed for me. It was "Pammy, the Panda Bear" from the old cartoon "Shirt Tales". I still love to look at the pics from that year!

Ok never really dressed up for halloween because my church usually had our harvest fest the same night. This past year I dressed up like a disco chic and danced all night, so I guess its my fav.
My mom's majorette outfit. It was satin and had sequins, what could be better than that?!!

Ok so when I was young I had a wild mustang horse. And one year mom mom made me an indian costume which i wore around the neighborhood while riding my horse (nevada) who was all painted up with hair color. I had the best time just riding him and showing him off :) Thank you for the chance to win this cute stamp set!!
Love your cards there so cute! My favorite costume a a child would have to be a Pink princess costume my mom sewed for me. Then we made a crown and wand out o cardboard and red glitter! Oh, I loved it! The only problem was that it was so cold where I grew up that I had to wear a turtleneck underneath and a winter coat over top it:( I love Halloween! So many great memories!

Well we didn't have money to buy costumes and I know it sounds funny but one year I dressed up has HOBO and It was the most fun. oversized clothes, dirt makeup, We wore hose over our heads to change the look of our face. It was a fun night.

My favorite costume was when I was a hobo. My sister and I got to wear our dads shirts and mom put charcole on our faces and we had our little bandana packs on sticks.

I can't remember a favorite, I just remember all the fun we had making our own costumes. Usually we were cheerleaders, cowboys, princesses, and scarey things, ghosts were easy with a sheet. The point is, we made them, we didn't have all the opportunities to purchase costumes that are available today.

My favorite costume was when I was a gypsy! We made a long haired wig out of yarn and a cut off piece of my mother's stocking. Such fun being a kid! I would love to win these stamps!

I'm not sure it was a favorite, but it's one I remember. It was a teddy bear costume - the pull-on cotton jumper that tied in the back and the plastic mask that needed the eye holes bigger because I remember not being able to see. I also remember my breath behind the mask feeling warm and moist. Ahhh, the good old days - or maybe I should say just the good days, LOL, and leave the old out.
I would have to say that my favorite costume as a child would be Wonder Women!! I know that I keep sayin this but this DT is amazing!!

My favorite costume as a kid was an alien/outer space costume. My mom sewed it for me out of a silver ironing board cover. It had a top, skirt, leg bands and arm bands. I also wore a silver ribbon wig. I won a costume contest at our local roller rink with the costume. It was so much fun!

My fav costume as a child was a "hobo" because my brothers and I got to tear up jeans and a shirt, rub our faces with dirt and carry a tired up hanky on a stick. We thought we were very clever. Love your blog, by the way.

My most memorable halloween costume was a "fat rat". I made it myself based off the instructions of a library book.

The ONLY Halloween costume I remember having as a kid was one my Mom made...an old extra large worn denim shirt to which she sewed many patches and a tie...she messed up my hair, smudged brown makeup on my face for dirt and I became a hobo. I must have had the same costume for at least 5 years!! :-)

I love the card made with the untraditional Halloween colors!!! I always think you have to stick to the black/orange/purple/green combo....nice inspiration to make a Halloween card with brown and blue!!

Great cards! As for my favorite halloween costume.... I never really dressed up as a child but about 10 years ago 'Beetle Juice'.
we could not afford store bought costumes as a kid so I would have to come up with something on my own, I loved my hobo costume, I would wear baggy pants and an old shirt, some makeup on my face and a scarf around neck, an there you go, I still have my pants the next day and did not spend any money for just one day.

I was a mummy. My mom wrapped me in stips of an old sheet. And as long as I stood still, they stayed in the right spot. So I went to the church party, and stood in corner until it was time for the judging of the costumes. No one knew who I was. They kept coming up to me, trying to get me to move or speak. The only thing I did was raise my arn and point across the room. They always walked away! lol I won the 'most original costume' prize. I remember it was sooooo hard to just stand there! The costume held up pretty well, even after I started to move around. Thanks for the memory prompt!

My most facorite costume was a spur of the moment decision. That Holloween turned out to be a VERY raining day. My brothers and I thought we were not going to go out at all. It was too wet and chilly for the dainty outfit I had intened to wear. My Dad dug through a box in the attic and found a simple nondescript mask. It was very yellow and he got my long yellow raincoat out and rainboots. With my hands in my pockets not one bit of my skin even showed and NOONE knew who I was.
My favorite costume for Halloween was a Raggedy Ann outfit. My Mom made it for me and has always been special to me.

Each summer our city held their Lakewood Day Parade which was judged. Each year my mom and grandmother would make costumes. The one i remember most is when we dressed as Chinese. Our black hair made of thick yarn was in a bun with hair stick (knitting needles)decorating it. Costumes included a very cool kimono robe (with pockets at the end of the sleeve to keep treats in)and an obi. My brothers were coolies with yarn braids down their back and pulled a rickshaw with my baby brother in it. There were 7 of us! Anyway, we wore those costumes for Halloween that year, and a few years after. My daughters also were able to wear those costumes, wig and all, for their Halloween dress up!

I never dressed up for Halloween as a child so I will tell you my favorite characters that my two girls have been. My eldest, now 18, was a firefighter for her 3rd year. I simply put her in a red sweatshirt and added fire with fabric paint and FD#3. She wore a cute little firemen's hat and was so adorable. My other child, my five year old daughter, wore a octopus outfit for her 2nd Halloween. I put her in pink sweatpants and shirt and sewed a slip-over-the-head additional arms. So, she had her legs, arms and four sewn arms. She was SUPER cute!

the only Halloween costume I remember is dressing up like a hobo. I used a cork that had been blackened to make a beard and I had a stick with a bandana tied around it like a little sack.

My favorite costume was The Bride of Frankenstien. It was so easy and comfortable because it was mostly make-up, teased my hair up with lots of hairspray and a dress.
I really did not have a favorite costume. I loved to change every year from a princess to a baseball player...I just did not like to repeat it every year.

What is funny is that I remember a lot of my costumes but no-one ever saw them...see where I live it always snowed on halloween and we not only had to wear our coats but also our snow pants and snow boots...with that being said I think my favorite was a good old fashioned ghost that my mom made one year (a sheet with eyes cut out) only because it went over the coat and snow pants!

Your creations are wonderful! My favorite costume as a kid was the Little Red Riding Hood costume that my grandmother made. My father told me I was the cutest Red Riding Hood that he ever saw and that made me feel special and off I went with a huge smile on my face to trick or treat through the neighborhood. A wonderful memory!
My only costume growing up for Halloween was a ghost. My grandmother had some old white sheets and she fixed them for me and my three brothers to go as ghosts and we used white pillowcases for our candy. I loved the little autumn crow - cute idea. Speaking of favorites, my favorite Halloween costume as a kid was a Hershey's Kiss costume! It was metallic-y and the cone hat had a wide silk ribbon coming out of it that said "Hershey's" like the real candy. Not only was it unique, but what made it so special was that I made it myself.

My favorite costume as a child was a monkey costume that my mother had sewn(reminds me a lot of the sock monkey) ...she made up most of the costumes we wore!!

cute cards all week! we didn't have alot of money growing up so I always had to be a witch. so I don't have a favorite as a child, but as an adult my favorite was "Cruela" (glen close style) Also my kids never wore the same costume twice! :o)
Your card is so cute!! I remember my very favorite costume as a child was when I dressed up as a cheerleader. I remember my mom used to go all out and make our costumes herself and she did an amazing job!!
