It's Friday!!!

Today's PKS Faces Challenge is to

create a project showcasing the year you graduated from high school! Make sure you "peachify" your project with our fun faces!

-Design must be new
-Project must include Peachy Keen Faces
-Link up by 11:59 pm 7/7

One random winner will receive a $20 Gift Certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps!

This challenge was super fun and also challenging for me!! Neon colors of the 80s are hard to come by in scrapbooking supplies!! I found these pretty papers by Prima in my stash and they worked quite well. They have the neon yellow, orange and lime green that I was thinking of!! I also found the tickets that my mom saved from my graduation ceremony!! Yeah!!!

The Peachy Keen face set I used was Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment. I thought that was fitting because when I graduated from HS I was Wide Eyed and ready to take on the world....ha ha!!

Hansel and Gretel Mini Album

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post a video that I made about a mini that I made back in April. My nephew was in a musical, it was his first. He played a raccoon in the story of Hansel and Gretel. It was a sweet musical. I had to make him a special album to remember the day and all the hard work he (and his classmates) put into the musical!

The New Anyday Stamps!!

The stamp that I'm featuring is
PK-289 Mitsy Sue and Colby Cheer Up Set and PK-291 Sampler Package of Faces

These stamps are genius, you can swap the faces. So if you dont want your little Colby mouse to be sad, swap out his face and make him surprised! It's amazing!!

Here's how it works...easy peasy!!

I start off by stamping the section I want to mask onto a post-it. Masking is the technique of stamping sections of one stamp. In this case I want my finished stamp image to be the mouse's body and not his little sad face.

Next, I cut out the face. The post-it note is sticky on the back and I place it onto my paper where I want to stamp my mouse body.

Then, I ink up my Peachy Keen Stamp and stamp the body over the post-it note face. This allows me to pick up the post-it and the face of the mouse is blank.

Lastly, I take my PKS Sampler Mouse face and stamp it into the little mouse body!

Here are a couple of cards I made using this technique!

I used a sharp pair of scissors and my exacto knife to cut around the little mouse!

I've decided that it's time to bring Quilling back in a new fresh way!! :)

Your next stop on the HOP is Kim over at Paper Punch Addiction!!
Have fun and don't forget to comment here on this post to be eligible and all the other DT gals posts too!!

I used my favorite PKS-494 Everyday Character Face Parts and more! to create these sweet little chickens! Every year I go to the Great New York State Fair and I always see the Rainbow Chickens. I don't know if that's what they are really called but that's what my nephew calls them. We never miss them. Last year was my niece's first time getting to see them. So, here's my page. I hope you like it!

Here are some better photos of the Rainbow Chickens from the NY State Fair website.

Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Friday Challenge #15

Hi Everyone,
Blogger's been having "issues" for the past couple of days so, my PKS Let's Face It Friday challenge post is a bit late. Well, better late than never!!

This challenge was an interesting one that really got me thinking...

The Challenge:
Get organized with chore charts, to-do lists, storage ideas & more using your Peachy Keen Faces! Our faces come in a variety of sizes, which make them SO easy to customize anything in the same face. Or, show your child what a great job they did by using one of our fun little faces on a household chore chart. The sky is the limit! Can't wait to see your crafty ideas!

We will be looking for the TOP 5 projects that are both creative and well executed.

-Design must be new
-Project must include Peachy Keen Faces
-Link up before May 25th

Winner will receive a $25 Gift Certificate to the Peachy Keen Stamps store and a special "My design won at Peachy Keen Stamps" badge to display on their blog.
Remaining top 4 will receive a "Top 5" badge from Peachy Keen Stamps to display on their blog.

Here's mine,
I decided to make a "To Do" chart for my nephew and niece. It's for when they come to visit every week. I included things like putting on their slippers, eating snack and picking up their toys.
I used velcro buttons for the back of the little die cuts so that when they complete the task they can move the little die cut over to the right.

I hope you have fun with this challenge.

NSD layout #5

The last page I finished yesterday was a summer layout. It is my sweet Godson Colin when he was about 1 year old in his little swing in the backyard! I love this photo and I never get tired of looking at it. It just feels like pure joy to me! I just love his little toes and I love to remember when they were so tiny!!

The papers I used are Debbie Mumm for Jo-Ann Nursery Rhyme pad. I also purchased the coordinating stamps that went with it. Unfortunately these items are no longer available but you might be able to find them on E-bay? The font is from Cricut's Zoobaloo cart (also retired, sorry). I painted the little piggy stamps with my Twinkling H2O's. (You can also find the Twinkling H2O's at scrapbook.com)

NSD layout #4

Page #4 is of my kitties, Hansel and Gretel! They love to snuggle and cuddle. This is a perfect photo of them. Yesterday, while putting this page together they were wrestling, biting and hissing BUT for the majority of the time they are snuggling with each other!!

These papers are Crate Paper Neighborhood Collection. I love them! I've used up about 75% of the 6 by 6 pad I have. They are just so bright and happy! The title is also from the Cricut Lite cart Four Legged Friends and the tiny house in the bottom right corner is from Winter Woodland. I originally bought that cart for the 3D houses but I have since fallen in love with all the other things on it. The font is just lovely and the cuts on this cart can be used for so many different themes not just Christmas or Winter.

NSD layout #3

The third page I created is on my dog, Prancer. Well, she's technically my dog but her true "Owner" is my Dad. She LOVES my Dad, he's her main guy! She had to wear this silly cone around her neck at night time for a little while and my sis got this great shot of her!
The papers I used are from the Peachy Keen Stamps online store and they are from the American Crafts Confetti Line. These papers are super gorgeous! Some are glittered, some are textured, I love them!! Check them out over at PKS along with buttons, ribbon, ric rac and brads too!!
The little dog and title are from Cricut's Four Legged Friends Lite cart, one of my newest and favorites!! It's a cart that originally I overlooked but then I watched a youtube where a lady cut the little pony. I can't remember her name but the little pony was so adorable that I had to get this cart!

oh, I found the video! Here it is by scrappyhour09
