Lastly, I wanted to post a quick video that I made. I hosted a Flat Stanley last month from Texas. A sweet lady TaVonna, from the Cricut message board asked if anyone would like to host Stanley from one of the 2nd graders in her daughters class.
While Flat Stanley was with me we did some interesting things and went to some neat places. I made an mini album to return home with him with a few little surprises inside of it. Here's a video of the mini album. Thanks for watching!! Let me know if you have any questions!!

Banner Blog Hop Fall 2010

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen

Today is our very first Banner Blog Hop and are you in for a treat today! We have 21 AmAzInG Ladies that are participating with 21 different Give-Aways!!

Let's start off with my banner. I created a New Year's Eve banner. It says CHEERS!! My whole family is going to be together for New Year's Eve and Day. I thought it would be so much fun to make and hang up a banner for the festivities. I always decorate for Christmas and seem to forget New Years. So this year I'm going to make sure New Years is not forgotten at my house.

Here's my banner with the beautiful fall leaves behind (by Dec. 31st I hope it will be a white wonderland out of my window!).



Here is a close up of the champagne glasses, one for each banner. I used my awesome PK-680 Retro Paper Doll Faces Assortment! I love this set and thought it would be perfect for this banner!!



Here's another shot of the banner on the wall.



To create the "fan" 3D embellishment behind each letter I used a video tutorial that I found on youtube. Here is a link to the original video that I watched. It's by Christina at Creations with Christina. It's a beautiful embellishment and so quick and easy. I don't even have a score-pal or Martha Stewart scoring board. I just used my paper trimmer with my bone folder.









On this close up you can really see the Twinking H2O paints that I used. These paints are fantastic. They shimmer and sparkle after they are dry. They are made by Creative Imaginations and I bought mine at Scrapbook.com. You can see them here Twinkling H2O's Wildflowers. I adore them!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Friday Challenge #3

Good Morning Everyone!
It's time for another Peachy Keen Stamps
Let's Face it Friday Challenge!!

Challenge #3

Create a home decor item based on a harvest/fall theme.
Anything goes, but must include a Peachy Keen Stamps face somewhere on the project.

The winner will receive

The four runner-up winners will receive a Top Five Blinkie for their own blog!!

Make sure you post your home decor item by Thursday, October 28th over at
the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge blog using Mr. Linky so
you will be eligible for the awesome prize!!

This was an especially fun challenge for me. I created a Spooky Table Centerpiece
with lots of trick-or-treaters, pumpkins and ghosts!








I cut out six 11 1/2 inch spooky trees from Mini Monsters.
I layered and glued three trees together to create two thick trees.
Then I cut each of the two trees in half.
Then I cut a 6 by 6 inch square out of chipboard and covered it with black card stock.
I hot glued the trees onto the card stock base standing up.
Then I decorated the centerpiece using ghosts, bats, little trick-or-treaters, gravestones
and lots of jack-o-lanterns!!

For the faces of the trick-or-treaters I used the Peachy Keen Stamps Simple Simons
and the Simple Sallies. The ghost faces are PKS Monsters 'n More (Retired)
and the Jack-o-lanterns are PKS Pumpkin Face Parts 
(one of my absolute favorites)!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face It Friday Challenge #2

Wheewh...after all of yesterday's hoopla, I can't believe it's time for another PKS "Let's Face It Friday" challenge!!

Oh, but this is a real good one!! I had the best time creating a scrapbook page for it. Our challenge is to create a card, page or project inspired by our Muse!
OK, that could really be left open to so many interpretations....that's the best part!!
A Muse is:
noun
a. A guiding spirit.
b. A source of inspiration.

Well, I have so many Muses (ha ha is that right?) that I couldn't just choose one. So I tried to cram most of them onto one page. I think I did a pretty good job if I say so myself...



I used the brand new PK-500 Snow Cuties Face Assortment to stamp my ballerina's face and the oh so adorable Tear Kitty Die and Face Stamp from PKS/Cottage Cutz!!
