Hello Good Friends,
I've got some fun things to tell you tonight.

First, I've got some Peachy-Goodness to share! Some of you may have already read about this on the PKS blog but I just wanted to let everyone know that Peachy Keen Stamps will be having weekly Guest Designers all year in 2011!! It's a wonderful, diverse group of artists so you'll be seeing some amazing creations each week. You can check out the complete list of Guest Designers here!!

As some of you may know, I write a bi-weekly column for the Syracuse Post Standard. I do have a blog where I "post" the link to the column. I've been neglectful of that blog in 2010 but I have made a New Year's resolution to keep that blog up to date. Until I get it back up to date (which I will be doing in the next week or two) you can check out my column via this link. Thanks Everyone!!

Lastly, I wanted to share with you something that's new to me. Every week I listen to the Paperclipping Roundtable. I love Noel and Izzy!! They are awesome!! Well, over the holidays I got a bit behind in my podcasts and so Ive been listening to them all at once for the past day or so. They along with Nancy Nally co-host and founder of Scrapbook Update have been talking about Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas. So, I thought I'd check them out. WoW! They are gorgeous. Looking through Tim's tags inspired me to create one of my own. So, here it is. I used Winter Frolic for the tag base and for the sentiment. I used Jolly Holidays for the stocking. The shimmery paint is Twinkling H2O's in Deep Coral and Rose Gold. The patterned paper is from Graphic 45's Christmas Past collection. Thanks for stopping by!!

Five Nights til Christmas Countdown Card #4

Good Evening Ladies and Gents,
I'm on a giddy gift wrapping high!! I'm about 3/4 finished wrapping and to make my evening even better, I just picked up my very last Christmas gift!! Yippee!! It's the one gift my nephew really told me that he wanted and has been sold out for weeks. I called Target on a whim tonight (well, after calling a couple other stores too) and they had it!! It's going to be a Harry Potter lego Christmas!!
And quite fittingly tonight's card is actually the one I made for my nephew. It's not Harry Potter but I know he'll love it.
For tonight's card I used Jolly Holidays! This cartridge is so super cute!! I also used one of my most favorite Peachy Keen Stamp sets. OK, I know I say that about all my PKS stamps but this one is really one of my favorite Go To sets! It's PK-480 Christmas Character Face Assortment! I think I love it so much because it has every face you would need for Christmas!! Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves, Sugar Plum Fairy (well, I like to call her that) and a Snowman! And the Snowman has the CUTEST nose!!!

Before I get back to wrapping, I just wanted to share a link to an Old Radio show that you can listen to (maybe with your children)? It's called Cinnamon Bear. There are 26 episodes. You can find the whole series here. Here's the Christmas Eve show with Santa. I hope you like it, it's a sweet little show!!
Thanks for stopping by tonight. I'll see you tomorrow night!!!

Five Nights til Christmas Countdown Card #3

Hello Everyone,
I can't believe how quickly this week is flying by! My niece and nephew were over last night and they are both so excited about Christmas. They are so sweet when they talk about Santa and how he is coming to their house.
I hope everyone is ready...I'm not quite. I still have a little bit of running around to do. I actually love shopping this time of year, well, not when I'm feeling pressured but since I know exactly what I need, the pressure is off. I hate trying to buy Christmas presents when I haven't a clue about what the person wants.
This year my whole family made out a TADA (http://tadalist.com/) list for what they want for Christmas. Then we emailed each other our lists. It worked like a charm!! You can even check off items that you've purchased, that way everyone knows it's already been bought. My SIL made lists for my niece and nephew. So, there can even be lists for the little children.
Well, on to tonights card. It's a little Gingerbread boy with a wreath. I used the Jolly Holidays cartridge that I got from Theresa the Scrapbooking Queen!!! Thank you so much Theresa!! For his face I used my Peachy Keen Stamps PK-461 Happy Lashes 1 1/8th inch. I just love this set!! It's perfect for so many things. The ribbon is American Crafts and I found it at Michaels. I can not remember what line the paper is from...sorry.
I hope you like my little card!! See you tomorrow night!!

Five Nights til Christmas Countdown Card #2

Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a jingle jolly day!! We are getting closer and closer. It's really starting to feel like Christmas now!! I did a little gift wrapping today and some crafting....big surprise there...ha ha!!

Here's today's card. I hope you like it. I used the sweet nesting dolls from Simply Charmed and I cut them using Christmas papers. Then I stamped their faces with PK-640 Princess Face Assortment! I love this stamp set from Peachy Keen Stamps! The faces are so darling!! The patterned paper I used is from Target in the Dollar section. I just grabbed one package because it was a dollar and boy do I wish I had grabbed a few. This paper is really well made for being only a dollar. Out of the 8 pieces of 12 x 12, I think more than half are glittered. The "Happy Holidays" stamp is also from Peachy Keen Stamps. It's from PKS-01 Snow Head Ornament One set.

Thanks for stopping by!! Hope to see you tomorrow night!! <3

Peachy Keen Stamps/Cottage Cutz thin metal dies

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out this new challenge. And you'll not want to miss this prize package!! It's awesome!!
