The New Anyday Stamps!!

The stamp that I'm featuring is
PK-289 Mitsy Sue and Colby Cheer Up Set and PK-291 Sampler Package of Faces

These stamps are genius, you can swap the faces. So if you dont want your little Colby mouse to be sad, swap out his face and make him surprised! It's amazing!!

Here's how it works...easy peasy!!

I start off by stamping the section I want to mask onto a post-it. Masking is the technique of stamping sections of one stamp. In this case I want my finished stamp image to be the mouse's body and not his little sad face.

Next, I cut out the face. The post-it note is sticky on the back and I place it onto my paper where I want to stamp my mouse body.

Then, I ink up my Peachy Keen Stamp and stamp the body over the post-it note face. This allows me to pick up the post-it and the face of the mouse is blank.

Lastly, I take my PKS Sampler Mouse face and stamp it into the little mouse body!

Here are a couple of cards I made using this technique!

I used a sharp pair of scissors and my exacto knife to cut around the little mouse!

I've decided that it's time to bring Quilling back in a new fresh way!! :)

Your next stop on the HOP is Kim over at Paper Punch Addiction!!
Have fun and don't forget to comment here on this post to be eligible and all the other DT gals posts too!!
