Harry Potter Inspired Mini Album

I created this little mini album for my nephew. I used both Paper Doll Dress Up and Everyday Paper Dolls. I also used Peachy Keen Stamps PK-690 Make a Monster assortment, Peachy Keen Stamps PK-691 Make a Monster 1 1/8 and Peachy Keen Stamps PK-755 Critter Faces Set A Large. The dolls were cut at 5 inches for the children, 6 inches for the adults, 7 inches for Hagrid and 8 inches for the troll. I used Design Studio to create the shape pages of the book. I used my Zutter Bind-It-All to bind the book together.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #31

Good Morning all my Peachy Keen Stamps Friends!
It's time for another challenge!! For this challenge create a card or scrapbook page using the sketch provided to us by the lovely Angelica!

Here's my card, getting us all ready for the great 4th of July holiday!!

I used the brand new PK-755 Critter Faces Set A Large and the cute little PKS fire cracker! I used my Cricut Create a Critter for the bird which I tried to make look like a bald eagle but turned out looking more like a turkey...ha ha!! That's ok because one of the DT gals told me that the turkey was in the running for our nation's bird! Imagine that!! :)

When you've finished your creation, post it over on the Peachy Keen Challenge blog and you can win an awesome prize!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #29

Happy Tuesday! It's time for another Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge!!
For challenge #29, you need to create a recipe card for your favorite picnic/BBQ salad or side dish!
This was such a fun challenge, I liked it because it was unique and different. I would have never thought of creating a recipe card. Now that Ive made one, I really want to keep making them!

For my recipe card I used the brand new PK-640 Princess Face Assortment on the apples. And on the carrots, I used one of my absolute favorite sets, the PK-531 Simple Sallies Face Assortment. The little eye glasses are darling and worked perfectly with the tall skinny carrots!!

2 new cards

I've been dying to use my new Peachy Keen Critter Face Stamps!! Ive had them since Sunday and I haven't had the chance to use them until today! They are awesome!! There are so many to choose from, I couldn't decide. Finally, I picked the little penguin and the piggies! I cut all the critters at 2 1/4 inches. On the penguin I used the PK-754 set A Medium. On the piggies I used the PK-753 set A Small, and from that set I used the largest face (5/8).

so here they are...

an Exciting Announcement

I am now one of the three newest members of the Peachy Keen Stamps Design Team! I need one of the little "smiley" icons that jump up and down shouting hooray, 'cause that's how I'm feeling!!

Kathy and Angelica are the absolute best, I adore all the ladies on the PKS DT! I am so happy to now be a part of their team!!

...on to my first challenge as a DT Member

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 28 was to create a card using the sketch below. I love this sketch for a couple of reasons. First, LOVE the scallops at the bottom! Second, I'm a firm believer that all things look best grouped together in "3's", so I love the one large embellishment with the three smaller ones to the right of it! Great Sketch!

Here's my take on the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking out my new card. If you have a minute, pop over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge blog and try challenge 28!! I can't wait to see what you create!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #27

For the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #27 we were to find inspiration from a color pallet that was posted on their blog. The colors are creme, celery and a light eggplant. These colors are so beautiful together. Here is my entry using those colors. I made a little lightening bug jar with little lightening bugs flying in and around it. It makes me think of summertime, which is right around the corner!! I used my darling Simple Sallies Face Assortment on my little lightening bugs!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #26

Here is my entry for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 26. I created my first card (the three colorful ducks) using the sweet Ducky Dolls set. I liked it so much that I decided to run it in my column.I had so much fun with this set, I made another card (the one duck with the daises). So, the second card is my entry to the challenge. My "up-cycled" item is the corrugated circle behind the duck. That is the inside of a light bulb package, the protective part that the light bulbs are packed in. The ducks are colored in with water color paints.
