Card Patterns Sketch #47

I book marked this cool card challenge blog last month. I thought I'd give their latest challenge a go. So here it is Card Patterns Sketch #47.
The pp's are Sassafrass Lass. I cut the tree with my cricut using zooballoo four times and layered it to give some dimension. The owls are from the coordinating set from Sassafrass.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #20

Here is the first Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge of 2010. WoW, I can't believe I'm typing 2010!!
Ok, on to challenge #20.
The challenge was to create a purse or bag. I found the pattern for mine at Mel Stampz. She has a ton of awesome patterns!
I adhered my patterned paper to a piece of white cardstock. Then I cut the pattern out. This piece of patterned paper "Let it Snow" made by Over the Moon Press (E. K. Success) and has a title border running across the bottom. This border made a wonderful handle for my purse.
I stamped a border of snowflakes using Peachy Keen Large Snowflakes and Snow faces. Then I cut the border out with my craft knife, glittered it and adhered it to the front and sides of my purse. Next I stitched all around the edges of the purse with my Sulky Blendable thread!! I used straight stitch and zig zag. Next, I put my purse together using adhesives and attached the handle with adhesives and brads.
I cut the snowman from my Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge using my Design Studio to leave the face blank so I could stamp it. I stamped the face with the snowman from my Peachy Keen Stamps Christmas Character Face Assortment. I stamped the skarf for my snowman using Peachy Keen Stamps Snowman Doll Set and colored it in with my brand new Dove Blender Pen. I've never used one before but I've been wanting to try. I have to say, I love the blender pen! So easy to use!
I attached the little snowman and another snowflake that I stamped and cut out to the front of the purse and added lots of glitter!!
Hope you like it!!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #19

Time for my favorite blog challenge!! The last Peachy Keen challenge of 2009.

My parents wedding anniversary was Saturday. They are coming for New Years tomorrow, I wanted to make them a special card. I love the sketch for challenge 19 and this was the idea I came up with.

I cut the snowflakes on my cricut in black out. They are from Joys of the Season. I stamped the snowflakes using Peachy Keen Large Snowflakes and Snow Faces (PK-232) on the blue bottom layer of the back snowflakes. Then on the white top layer I stamped the sweet penguins from Peachy Keen Penguin Doll Set (PK-318).

Sketchy Thursdays Second Chance Challenge

Here's my card for the Sketchy Thursday 2nd Chance Challenge. I used K&Co. Deck the Halls pp. It is glittery, I tried to get a picture that shows the glitter. This paper is beautiful, I'm not sure if it photographed as pretty as it really is. I made two of these cards as Christmas thank you cards for some gifts that I received yesterday. Inside they say thank you.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #18

I used the Oh So Adorable Peachy Keen Stamps Gingerbread Doll Set to create this card for the newest PKS Challenge #18. These stamps are hands down my favorite stamp set ever!! LOVE them!! The gumdrop pp's are from a super old Hot Off the Press paper tablet that I've had for about 5 years. Lots of stickels and sleigh cut from Cricut Christmas Cheer!!

a little Elf card

I used my Peachy Keen Christmas Character face stamps to make some elves, Santa and Mrs. Claus for a layout that will run in my column on December 13th. I made one too many elves so... I made the extra elf into a card. I used my Peachy Keen Large Snowflakes and Snow Faces stamps. I stamped the solid snowflake in pale blue and then the snowflake outline in silver. It made such a lovely background. The background patterned paper (with the reindeer) and the paper on the elf is K&Co. Swell Noel. I just love the nontraditional color scheme!!

a Christmas Church Card

I made this Christmas Church card for my favorite Priest, Fr. O'Brien of St. John's Church in Liverpool!! He is a sweet, kind soul!
I used my Cricut Christmas Solutions cart and Design Studio to cut the church. I used the "packing tape" method to put the glitter in the windows.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #17

OMGosh, Kathy and Peachy Keen Stamps is giving away the most amazing two sets of stamps EVER!!! WoW, they are so adorable!! {{good luck to me}} ha ha!!

So, here is my entry for this challenge!

My Aunt Janet is having a birthday on Monday and she is a doll collector. I used the Victorian doll on Christmas Solutions (Cricut cartridge). The papers are from a Making Memories {note}worthy project pad, Tara.

The stamp I used on the doll is from the Peachy Keen Christmas Character Assortment pack. It's the angel face, so versatile! It also could be used for a princess or a bride.
